Exciting opportunity to join a retail team for a new boutique in Maynooth, opening in August. Specialising in ladies fashion, the small scale of this boutique means you will get to learn and work in many areas of the business, including:

Styling and customer satisfaction
Inventory management and EPOS
Merchandising and shop appearance
Marketing and social media
In-store and online sales
Stock loss prevention
Business growth and development

The ideal candidate will exhibit a willingness to learn, a natural friendliness and ability to interact with customers. Other characteristics that will benefit you in this position include good time-keeping, independence, but also performing as part of a team, an eye for style, colours, fabrics, what looks good on different people and what looks good when it comes to merchandising. Efficient communication internally (between management and the retail team), and externally (with customers and the wider community) will contribute to the success of the business.

Requirements

Experience in retail and fashion is a plus. Experience in a small business is also beneficial. A willingness to transfer existing skills is essential. For example customer service experience, self-management, communication skills, cash handling, technical skills with EPOS, social media and marketing, problem solving.
